PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging container capable of fixing an elongate weighty packaged object within a packaging box certainly, and moreover, capable of reinforcing the packaging box from the internal by a shock absorption fixture for packaging. SOLUTION: The packaging container has the shock absorption fixture 1a<SB>1</SB>for the packaging inside the packaging box 9 of a rectangular parallelepiped type, the shock absorption fixture 1a<SB>1</SB>for the packaging is equipped with a triangular tubular body which has made a shock absorption material of a flat plate shape bend into a triangular tubular form and a jointing material for fixing the contact section of the above shock absorption material which comes into contact by forming the top side of the side face of the drum section of this triangular tubular body, and the above triangular tubular body is based on the packaging container which possesses at least one notch section which fits in the configuration of the packaging object 10a in the above drum section.
