PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detection device having a sufficiently downsized float, and a liquid storage container. SOLUTION: The float 13 floating corresponding to fluctuation of a liquid level is stored inside a reservoir body 10. A magnet 16 is installed on the float 13, and a magnetic force sensing element 17 is provided on the reservoir body 10. Even if a magnetic force on the float 13 side is weak, lowering of the float 13 to a set height can be detected by the magnetic force sensing element 17. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
