PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incinerator capable of preventing a furnace wall of a combustion chamber from being damaged by preventing a shell and a heat insulating material from separating and scattering caused by expansion of steam gas. SOLUTION: Many spill ports 2a for escaping water vapor gas A to external environment are formed in the furnace wall of the incinerator. A cover member 1 for receiving the water vapor gas A escaped from the escaping hole is provided in the furnace wall. The cover member 1 is provided with a part for directly receiving the water vapor gas A escaped from the spill ports 2a and a second spill port 1a for discharging it to the atmosphere.
