PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot and cold water mixing device which can improve temperature-control performance while ensuring a sufficient discharge quantity. SOLUTION: The hot and cold water mixing device (20) for mixing the hot and cold water and discharging the mixture comprises a hot and cold water mixing device body (21) provided with a hot-water side sheet face (22c) and a cold-water side sheet face (24b), a main valve-element (30) which is provided with sheet parts on both sides, and movably placed in the inside of the hot and cold water mixing device body in order to change the flow rate of incoming hot and cold water by the movement, the hot and cold water-separating means (42) for inhibiting the hot and cold water from being mixed with each other in the outside of the main valve-element, an urging means (32) for urging slidingly the main valve-element in a specified direction, and a temperature-sensitive urging means (34) urging the main valve-element in the reverse direction, and changing the urging force in response to the temperature of the hot water.
