PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving side pulley for a V-belt transmission device in which the weight rollers of the driving side pulley are well ventilated to be prevented from being highly heated while maintaining their operating smoothness for a long period. SOLUTION: The driving side pulley comprises a movable half pulley A, a fixed half pulley 8, the weight rollers 9, and a roller supporting plate 7. On a back face 1b of the movable half pulley A, roller chambers 3 are radially formed where the weight rollers 9 are stored. Roller retaining wall portions 5 are formed at three positions of the roller chambers 3 and protruded from the outer peripheral edge on the back face of the movable half pulley A along the axial direction. Slider sliding bosses 6 are formed between the roller retaining wall portions 5. The height of the roller retaining wall 5 from the outer peripheral edge on the back face of the movable half pulley A is smaller than the height of the slider sliding boss 6.
