PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct acting guide device which enables smooth slide of a slider by forming a slit in an end of an orbital rail to connect two orbital rails with each other. SOLUTION: The end 30 of the orbital rail 2 is formed in a connector 6 divided into a middle part 8 and a pair of elastically deformable sides 9 at both the sides by a pair of slits 7. The connector 6 is provided with an inside adjusting screw 17 and an outside adjusting screw 18 threaded from a side 13 of the orbital rail 2 in order to adjust the position by elastically deforming the sides 9 in the crosswise direction. End surfaces 10 of the orbital rail 2 are brought in contact with each other. The adjusting screws 17 and 18 are threaded into the connection 6 to elastically deform the sides 9.
