PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pilot valve that can surely discharge air from a damping pressure chamber so as to certainly obtain a damping effect. SOLUTION: The pilot valve includes a spool 11 for communicating an outlet port 7 to either of a pump port 9 and a tank port 6, a plunger 18 to be pressed and manipulated by an operating lever 25 in order to move the spool 11 in a sliding manner, spring members 22, 23 arranged between the plunger 18 and the spool 11 so as to set pressure on the side of the pump port 9 by the spool 11 according to an amount of pressing operation of the plunger 18, and a damping hole 28 for communicating the tank port 6 with the damping pressure chamber 27 via the spool 11. A diameter-reduced tapered portion 30 is provided on an outer periphery of an end of the spool fronting on the damping pressure chamber 27. Communication holes 31 for communicating an outer periphery of the tapered portion 30 with the damping hole 28 are formed in the spool 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
