OZONE-BASED DEODORIZING APPARATUS

An ozone-based deodorizing apparatus which can attain an improvement in deodorizing efficiency. It comprises: a cleaning tower having a suction opening for introducing odorous gases into a mixing chamber disposed in a lower part and further having a discharge opening which is disposed on an upper part and through which the gases having undergone a treatment for adsorbing ingredients contained in the odorous gases are discharged; an ozone generator for supplying ozone to the mixing chamber; a layer packed with a porous object, a suction means, and an adsorption layer which are disposed in this order above the mixing chamber in the cleaning tower; and a sprinkler for sprinkling cleaning water from below the porous-object layer in the mixing chamber.
