Joining structure of a header and a tank for a heat exchanger is provided to reduce mold machining processes by injecting a liquid phase gasket seal into a coupling groove, and coupling a lower end of an edge of the tank to a mounting surface formed to be opposite to an inner circumferential surface of a protrusion part. Joining structure of a header and a tank for a heat exchanger comprises a refrigerant tube, a header and a tank(10). The header is provided with a protrusion part(21) to be orthogonal along an edge. A coupling groove(22) having a section of U-shape is formed in a lower end of the protrusion part. A liquid phase gasket seal(30) is injected into the coupling groove. A mounting surface is formed on a coupling surface formed to be opposite to an inner circumferential surface of the protrusion part so that a lower end of an edge of the tank is supported.
