MOVEMENT SUPPORTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support movement of a user operating together with walking motion of the user while the user such as an elderly person, etc. makes the walking motion.

SOLUTION: This movement supporting apparatus 10 is constituted of a car body 11 and a driving device 12 to make the car body 11 travel. The car body 11 is furnished with a walking surface F free to move backward and a front wheel 17 to be driven to rotate by the driving device 12. The driving device 12 is furnished with a first driving means 21 to move the walking surface F, a second driving means 22 to rotate the front wheel 17 and a control means to control driving of the second driving means 22. The control means 30 controls driving of the second driving means 22 in correspondence with a load applied on the first driving means 21, and the car body 11 travels at speed decided in correspondence with the walking motion when the user H makes the walking motion on the walking surface F.
