<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and high-efficiency deodorization apparatus in which the heating efficiency of a fin catalyst is improved to keep the surface temperature of the fin catalyst at high temperature even when the calorific value of a catalyst heater is small. <P>SOLUTION: The deodorization apparatus is provided with: a case 22 having an exhaust gas intake 23 and a discharge port 24; the fin catalyst 29 housed in the case 22; the catalyst heater 25 arranged in the central part of the fin catalyst 29; and a cover 30 for closing the case 22 tightly. The fin catalyst 29 is provided with: a spiral plate 26 consisting of a belt-shaped metal plate; a partition body 27 arranged for meandering exhaust gas in an exhaust gas passage 26a; and a metal plate 28 arranged in the exhaust gas passage 26a in parallel to the spiral plate 26. A catalyst is deposited on the surface of each of the spiral plate, the partition body and the metal plate. As a result, the heating efficiency of the fin catalyst 29 can be improved to keep the surface temperature of the fin catalyst 29 at high temperature even when the calorific value of the catalyst heater 25 is small and the deodorization apparatus can be made compact and made to have high efficiency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
