<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device, a cooling method and a manufacturing method of steel capable of realizing high accuracy in controlling the temperature of the steel, and a cooling capacity diagnosing method capable of determining any abnormality of a spray nozzle in the cooling device capable of cooling the steel to be conveyed at a high speed. <P>SOLUTION: The steel cooling device 100 having a plurality of spray headers 2, and being capable of cooling a steel 1 by using a cooling medium 9 to be sprayed from each spray nozzle 8 provided on each spray header 2 comprises a flow rate measuring means 7 for measuring the flow rate of the cooling medium, a pressure measurement means 6 for measuring the pressure of the cooling medium, a combination storage means 12 for storing the combination of the spray headers, a flow rate storage means 12 for storing the standard flow rate of the cooling medium, a fluctuation storage means 12 for storing the flow rate fluctuation characteristic and the pressure fluctuation characteristic of the cooling medium, a first correction means 11 for correcting the flow rate fluctuation characteristic, and a second correction means 11 for correcting the pressure fluctuation characteristic. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
