PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus, an imaging system, and an imaging method capable of obtaining parameters for D-range compression speedily and capable of performing D-range compression without losing useful information that an original image has. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus, the imaging system, and the imaging method can obtain parameters for D-range compression speedily and perform D-range compression, without losing useful information that an original image has by calculating parameters for the D-range compression, based on object luminance information when capturing the original image.
