PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize image automatic correction in a distributed printing system. SOLUTION: The invention relates to a system and a procedure for image processing. The system comprises: a data communication network (1) which serves as a channel for the transmission of the image which is processed, and digitized in an electronic form of representation; and an image processing device (2; 2a, 2b, 2c), which is connected to the data communication network (1) and which processes the image to enhance its visual quality for printing the image to different formats. The image processing system comprises a classifying device (3) for automatically classifying the image, and a correcting device (4) for automatically correcting the image.
