PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic semiconductor element which can be manufactured in a simple application process, has good characteristics as a transistor, has stability for oxygen in the air and has sufficiently suppressed secular deterioration. SOLUTION: The organic semiconductor element has an organic semiconductor layer containing a bivalent platinum ortho-metallized complex obtained by applying a reductive elimination reaction to a tetravalent platinum ortho-metallized complex.
