PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder for a folding umbrellas which can keep an umbrella from being blown up even in the wind despite its lightweight by mounting it on the body part of the user firmly being fixed thereon and enables the folding of the umbrella to be housed therein during the unuse period. SOLUTION: The umbrella holder 1 includes a broad curved body pad 2 made of a hard resin following the body of the human body, a holding cylinder 7 made of a hard resin fixed thereon, a housing cylinder 15, a band 3 which is mounted on the body pad and a shoulder belt 30, wherein the holding cylinder 7 is formed of an outer cylinder 8 and an inner cylinder 9, an upper inner wall side part is provided with a screw-inserted pressing rod 19b for holding and fixing a handle 20 of a shaft 21 of an umbrella 26 mounted from a handle insert port 12 at the upper end of the inner cylinder 9 into the inner cylinder 9 in a space up to the inner wall of the inner cylinder 9, a push knob 14d containing a coiled spring 8c in a strained state between the inner cylinder 9 and the outer cylinder 8 to automatically stretch out is provided at the lower part of the outer cylinder, and the upper part of the inner cylinder 9 is provided with the handle insert port 12 at the handle 20 of the shaft 21 of the umbrella 26.
