PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing a large amount of moss. SOLUTION: This method for producing moss comprises high-density cultivation of moss in nutritious liquid through irradiation with red LED and fluorescent light at the same time. The photo-synthetic photon flux density (PPFD) ratio of the red LED to the fluorescent light is (1:3)-(3:1), a red LED wavelength is 600-700 nm, and the fluorescent light is 3 wavelength-type daytime color red fluorescent light.
