REMOTE UPDATING SYSTEM FOR ELEVATOR CONTROL PROGRAMS

A remote updating system for elevator control programs, which sequentially updates the control programs for elevators with a reduced communication time and costs and without causing the elevators to stop at the same time. A server (10) delivers update data via a communication line (20) to a representative elevator (30(1)), the update date including information on a difference between a control program of a version before the update and a control program of the latest version to be used for the update. The representative elevator (30(1)) and other elevators (30(2)-30(N)) transfer the update data in sequence according to a predetermined transfer order and update their own control programs based on the update data including the data on the difference.
