COMMUNICATION CONFERENCE SYSTEM, SPEECH CONVERTER, AND SIGNAL CONVERSION ADAPTOR

A communication conference system capable of interconnecting a user having only connecting means through a telephone line network and a user having only IP connecting means without needing any expensive dedicated conference server. A speech conference apparatus (1) comprises a network processing section for transmitting/receiving speech information to/from another apparatus through the IP and terminals for inputting/receiving a speech signal. The speech conference apparatus (1) is connected to the receiver terminal of a telephone set (3) through an adaptor (2) for converting the standards (mainly the level) of the speech signal. The speech conference apparatus (1) is connected to another speech conference apparatus through the IP and connected to another telephone set through a telephone set (3) and a telephone line. With this, the user of the IP connection destination and the user of the telephone line connection destination are interconnected.
