<p>A water tank for an ice tray is provided to supply water to the ice tray without taking the ice tray out of a refrigerator by providing an ice tray assembly using the water tank for the ice tray. A water tank(30) for an ice tray comprises a body(31), an opening part(35a,35b), a valve(36a,36b), a mount member(60) and a valve operation member(39). The body has a bottom surface(31b) and a side surface(31a) for containing water to be supplied to the ice tray of an ice tray assembly. The opening part is formed on the bottom surface of the body. The valve opens and closes the opening part. The mount member is included in a side surface so as to fix the body to the ice tray assembly. The valve operation member is connected to a valve, and opens the valve when the body is mounted in the ice tray assembly.</p> |
