<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent radio communication system and radio communication equipment which employ reflected wave transmission method and can perform data transmission suitably by returning a modulated reflected wave on which transmission data is superimposed by a reflector to non-modulated carrier sent from a reflected wave reader side, the radio communication system and radio communication equipment enabling the power consumption thereof to be reduced by suppressing useless transmitting/receiving operations in a terminal side mounted with the reflector and in a host mounted with the reflected wave reader. <P>SOLUTION: When no transmission data exists and no data frame is received from the host, the terminal waits for the generation of data to be transmitted for some time and subsequently starts data transmission, and defines a control frame for notifying transmission and reception stop time information between the terminal and the host to notify each other of the next transmitting/receiving timing. When receiving a control frame, the transmission and reception operations are stopped on the basis of the transmission and reception stop time information and the transmission and reception operations are restarted after the elapse of the stop time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
