<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp holder of which rattling is suppressed for improved mounting workability, along with a lighting system for a display device using it, a display device using it, and a liquid crystal display using the lighting system for the display device. <P>SOLUTION: A mounting plate 21 fitted to a base 14 is provided with a pair of hooking parts 22 that protrude toward the base 14 side. The hooking parts 22 are inserted in a mounting hole 14a provided to the base 14 for engagement with the peripheral edge on its rear side. The three points sandwiching the hooking parts 22 on a lower surface 21a, of the mounting plate 21, that faces the base 14, are provided with abutting parts 35 and 36 that protrude toward the base 14 side and can abut with base 14 when mounting. At mounting, the abutting parts 35 and 36 abut with the base 14 so that the mounting plate 21 elastically deforms by warping. The resilient force keeps an engagement surface 26a of the hooking part 22 hooked with the periphery of the rear side of the mounting hole 14a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
