PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polylactic acid resin composition excellent in resistance to hydrolysis and mechanical properties, to provide a polylactic acid resin composition excellent in resistance to hydrolysis, mechanical properties and heat resistance, and to provide a molded article comprising the same. SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises 0.1-10 pts.wt. of a carbodiimide-modified isocyanate compound (B) relative to 100 pts.wt. of a polylactic acid resin (A). The above resin composition is the one in which the ratio of the L-lactic acid component and the D-lactic acid component in the above component (A) is in 100-95/0-5 or 0-5/100-95 (% molar ratio). A resin composition is also provided which comprises 1-200 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic resin (C) having a higher glass transition temperature than the component (A) relative to 100 pts.wt. of the component (A).
