PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a heat exchanger, and the heat exchanger manufactured by the method, capable of improving brazing property of a core plate and a tube without impairing heat exchanging performance. SOLUTION: As the core plate 111 is retracted to the direction to keep an edge portion 111b away from a core portion 120, a linear tip portion of a dispenser 200 can enter deeply to a position indicated by a two-dot chain line in the thickness direction of the core portion 120 as shown in (b). Thus paste brazing filler metal can be applied to a comparatively wide range of a joining part 122b of the core plate 111 and the tube 122 without reducing an installation area of a fin 121.
