摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophoresis display device capable of reducing a residual image by equalizing the moving amount of an electrophoretic particle, which makes a display part into a first gradation, and the moving amount of an electrophoretic particle, which makes the display part into a second gradation, to each other. SOLUTION: The electrophoresis display device is comprises: a display part which includes a plurality of pixels provided with electrophoresis elements having dispersion systems containing electrophoretic particles between a common electrode and pixel electrodes; and a control part which moves the electrophoretic particles to form an image by controlling a voltage applied to the common electrode and the pixel electrodes. The control part sets a period that the display part is made into the first gradation (white) and a period that the display part is made into the second gradation (black) in an erase time that the image displayed in the display part is changed from a first image to a second image. In the erase time, the control part controls a voltage applied to the common electrode and the pixel electrodes so that the moving amount of the electrophoretic particle for making the display part into the first gradation is equalized to the moving amount of the electrophoretic particle for making the display part into the second gradation.
