PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which is equipped with a circularly polarizing plate on a front surface side of a luminescent display element and in which the luminescent display element and its periphery have a sense of unity while the reflection due to external light is suppressed and the circularly polarizing plate is hardly peelable from an adherend. SOLUTION: The display device is equipped with the electroluminescence display element 1, a translucent member 2 (the adherend) disposed on the front surface side of the electroluminescence display element 1, the circularly polarizing plate 3 disposed on the front surface side of the translucent member 2 and has a tacky adhesive layer 18 on the translucent member 2 side, and a light shielding layer 20 disposed at the translucent member 2 and covering the region other than the display region S of the electroluminescence display element 1, in which the circularly polarizing plate 3 is stuck via an adhesion reinforcing layer 21 to the translucent member 2.
