PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably feed (carry) a recording sheet even if it generates large carrying resistance, while restraining an enlargement of a paper feeding tray. SOLUTION: A support rib 33a is arranged on a bottom plate 33 of the paper feeding tray 30, and a support plate 3a receiving pressing force acting on the support rib 33a, is arranged on the lower side of the support rib 33a among a base member 3. Thus, since the bottom plate 33 of the paper feeding tray 30 can be prevented from largely deflecting in the pressing direction even if a paper feeding roller 60 is pressed to the recording sheet side by large pressing force, the bottom plate 33 of the paper feeding tray 30 can be prevented from largely deflecting in the pressing direction without thickening the thickness of the bottom plate 33 of the paper feeding tray 30.
