PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step cleaning device for a passenger conveyor capable of certainly storing dusts dropping off from a step in a dust receiving body. SOLUTION: The step cleaning device for the passenger conveyor is provided with the dust receiving body 10 mounted to a machine bed 7 of a drive part 6 for circulating/moving a plurality of endlessly connected steps 3 and positioned near a lower position of an inversion part 8 where the step 3 inverts the movement direction when the drive part 6 is mounted to a neighborhood to a mounting position for circulating/moving the step 3.
