PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool which fixes a tip to a holder securely and improves service life of the holder. SOLUTION: This cutting tool 20 can restrain the tip 21 in the direction in which it goes around an axis L33 of a through hole by abutting a second end part abutting face 49 of the tip 21 on an opposing face 62 of the holder 22. Since an opposing part 68 of the holder 22 is abutted on the second end part abutting face 49, the force given to the holder 22 is dispersed when compared with the case where the force F from a material 18 to be cut is received by an end part in the longitudinal direction, and concentration of stress is prevented to suppress deformation and damage of the holder 22.
