PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for iontophoresis structured to reduce the effect of osmotic pressure that causes water of a liquid medicine holding part to move to an electrolyte holding part. SOLUTION: An iontophoretic electrode structure emplotyed to hold ionic liquid medicine keeps at least electrolyte and liquid medicine holding parts arranged adjoining each other through a substance-permeable membrane, wherein the liquid medicine holding part contains an electrically neutral polymer.
