PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-precision needle unitary type biosensor which enables the drawing of blood regardless of the presence of a puncture instrument along with an easier assembly and further achieves an excellent reproducibility of the biosensor produced. SOLUTION: The needle unitary type biosensor keeps an electrode and a spacer overlaying one or both of two insulating substrates interlinked with a joint, the two insulating substrates folded along the joint to position the electrode, and the spacer located between the insulating substrates. All but the tip part for the puncture of a puncture needle which is punctured into the skin of a specimen to draw the body fluid are disposed and fixed into the sensor. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
