The present invention concerns a device for controlling at least one graphical pointer on a work area of a computer display, comprising at least one element (1), corresponding to said at least one graphical pointer, capable to move on an area included in a tablet (2), and sensor means (31) capable to detect the position of said at least one element (1) in said area of the tablet (2), a one-to-one relationship existing between the position of said at least one element (1) within said area of the tablet (2) and the position of said at least one graphical pointer on said work area of the display, characterised in that said at least one element (1) is movable by means of motion means (3, 4) according to at least two degrees of freedom with respect to the tablet (2), and in that the means (31) for sensing the position of said at least one element (1) sends one or more signals to processing means (30) capable to process them for determining the position of said at least one graphical pointer corresponding one-to-one with the position of said at least one element (1). The present invention further concerns a computer incorporating such controlling device. |
