摘要 <p>An induction heating cooking device where detection sensitivity for high temperature when a small amount of oil is used is enhanced and a reduction in heating output is prevented when cooking is made at relatively low temperature. The induction heating cooker has a heating coil (8) for induction heating a cooking container, an infrared sensor (10) for detecting infrared rays emitted from the bottom face of the cooking container and outputting a detection signal based on the amount of energy of the infrared rays detected, and a heating control section (9) for controlling electric power supply to the heating coil based on the detection signal. The infrared sensor (10) outputs a detection signal when the bottom surface temperature of the cooking container is equal to or higher than a first predetermined temperature that is higher than 230°C, and when the bottom surface temperature is lower than the first predetermined temperature, it substantially does not output the detection signal. The heating control section (9) reduces or stops the electric power supply to the heating coil when the bottom face temperature of the cooking container is higher than the first predetermined temperature and is equal to or higher than a second predetermined temperature that is lower than the ignition temperature of the oil.</p>
