A flat display device is provided to reduce a size of a film for transmitting a driving signal by connecting some of a plurality of data driving integrated circuits to a film for transmitting a driving signal, and connecting remaining data driving integrated circuits in a cascade method. A display panel includes a pixel cell in each of areas defined by a plurality of data lines(DL) and a plurality of gate lines(GL). A plurality of data driving integrated circuits(220a,220b,220c,220d) are directly mounted at a first side of the display panel, and supplies an image signal to the data lines. A film(230) for transmitting a driving signal supplies a driving signal to each of some data driving integrated circuits of the plurality of data driving integrated circuits. At least one data line(224) for cascade is formed on the display panel, and connects the remaining data driving integrated circuits of the plurality of data driving integrated circuits in a cascade method. |
