<p>A dual band slot antenna comprising a conductive antenna body (1) having a slot (20) formed therein. The slot (20) is divided into three sections (S1, S2, S3) by a conductive strip (2) which extends into the slot (20) from an edge thereof. The first and second sections (S1-S2) together operate as a slot antenna at a first frequency band and the second and third sections (S2-S3) together operate as a slot antenna at a second frequency band. A single feed is provided to excite both frequency bands. Thus, a dual-band slot antenna is provided which is substantially the same size as a conventional single-band slot antenna.</p> |
