PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL AND FABRICATING METHOD FOR THE SAME

A plasma display panel is provided to perform an electromagnetic interference shielding function by forming a shielding electrode with the same material of a bus electrode. A plasma display panel includes an upper plate having sustain electrodes(313,314) and a lower plate having an address electrode(323). The upper plate and the lower plate are attached to each other. The upper plate includes the sustain electrodes formed on a first substrate(311), a shielding electrode(315) formed on the same plane with the sustain electrodes in order to shield electromagnetic waves, a dielectric formed on the first substrate, and a protective layer formed on the dielectric layer. The dielectric layer includes the sustain electrodes and the shielding electrode.
