<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an operation regarding an arbitrary video image to be executed also from a counterpart side after sending the arbitrary video image being browsed by one's own side to the counterpart side, in a communication system for transmitting/receiving video images in real time. <P>SOLUTION: An operation specification signal transmitter 11f of a communication terminal 1b transmits a control packet (operation specification signal) for specifying an operation related to a video image content input to a remote control 60 to a communication terminal 1a (B3). When receiving the operation specification signal from the communication terminal 1b (A3), the communication terminal 1a specifies the operation related to the video image content inputted to the communication terminal 1b in accordance with the received operation specification signal (A4).
