<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and inexpensive camera module. <P>SOLUTION: Since an infra-red ray removing filter 6 is attached by a deformation of a projection piece 5 provided in a holding member 1 composed of insulation resin in a camera module, a projection width B of a latching portion 4 provided to the holding member 1 for latching the infra-red ray removing filter 6 is made small and compact.
