<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter with which a high-grade transreflective display similar to that of a 6-color color filter is made possible without entailing an increase of the number of production processes and consumption of coloring materials, and a transreflective liquid crystal display device equipped with the color filter, and a method for manufacturing the color filter, and a spectroscopy of visible light using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The color filter 10 comprising patterning a hydrophobic black matrix 13 on a light transmissive and hydrophilic glass substrate 11, coating and forming a plurality of colored pixels 14 respectively transmitting visible light of a plurality of colors in the apertures of the black matrix 13, and forming thick film parts and thin film parts within the same colored pixels 14, and the method for manufacturing the same are provided. By such colored pixels 14, the spectral intensity of the light once transmitting the thick film parts and twice transmitting the thin film parts can be made to approach mutually. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
