<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system capable of detecting an object approaching a parking place of a vehicle by detecting the object approaching the vehicle by using a sensor or the like mounted on the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The security system comprises a position detection means 5 for detecting the position of a vehicle 1, a detection means 2 for detecting a moving object around the vehicle outside the vehicle 1, and a reporting means 4 for reporting the approach of the moving object when detecting the approach of the moving object.
