PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver shared by analog broadcast and digital broadcast by which operability after stopping waves of the analog broadcast is improved. SOLUTION: The receiver shared by analog broadcast and digital broadcast having a function for receiving the analog broadcast and a function for receiving the digital broadcast is provided with a setting means (step 12) capable of setting an analog broadcast related function invalid. In addition, the setting means has a selection screen on which the turn-on/off of the analog broadcast related function is selected and set. Furthermore, the receiver is provided with a menu changing means (step S13) for changing a menu display content into the one exclusive for digital broadcast when the invalidity of the analog broadcast related function is set by the setting means.
