PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical head device in which a pressing spring can be fixed to a device frame without deteriorating workability even when the device frame is miniaturized and thinned without increasing the number of components. SOLUTION: The device frame 2 is provided with a recessed part 200 to which a leaf spring 60 to be engaged with a sensor lens 56 to tentatively hold the sensor lens 56 by the device frame 2 is engaged and which supports the leaf spring 60 by the device frame 2. Thus, by utilizing the recessed part 200, the leaf spring 60 is supported by the device frame 2. Thus, since the need of using a fixture such as a screw for fixing the leaf spring 60 to the device frame 2 is eliminated, the leaf spring 60 is fixed to the device frame 2 without deteriorating the workability even when the device frame 2 is miniaturized and thinned without increasing the number of components.
