PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic metronome not hindering performance of a musical instrument or the like, capable of acquiring natural lingering tone. SOLUTION: Since only a click sound (tempo sound) is regenerated at a weak beating time, and each waveform of two kinds of sounds, namely, a chime sound (rhythmic sound) and the click sound (tempo sound), is mixed, regenerated and outputted at a strong beating time, even at the strong beating time, natural reverberation can be acquired, and unnaturalness characteristic to the electronic type metronome can be removed. Since the chime sound and the click sound are not a sound having a specific pitch, a user can be informed of a tempo by a sound not hindering the performance of a musical instrument.
