PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively mount vertical grid members to upper and lower furring strips in a single operation so as not to slip out of the upper and lower furring strips and moreover to optionally change an angle defined by the upper and lower furring strips and the vertical grid members, within a predetermined angle range. SOLUTION: This fence coping with a slope comprises posts 1 and a panel 2 mounted between the posts 1. The panel 2 comprises the upper and lower furring strips 3, 4, a plurality of vertical grid members 5 mounted between the upper and lower furring strips 3, 4 so that the ends are inserted in the upper and lower furring strips 3, 4, and support members 6 for fixing the vertical grid members 5 not to slip out of the upper and lower furring strips 3, 4. The support members 6 have width and length dimensions insertable in the upper and lower furring strips 3, 4 and keyhole-like openings formed at spaces equal to the spacing of the vertical grid members 5. A large diameter part of the opening has dimensions that can insert the end of the vertical grid member 5, and a small diameter part of the opening has dimensions that can insert a neck part formed at the end of the vertical grid member 5.
