PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Obi board with an auxiliary tool enabling a user to easily beautifully wear a kimono and to provide a dressing method using the Obi board. SOLUTION: This Obi board with an auxiliary tool has an Obi plate body worn inside an Obi, a pair of stretch winding bands which have hooks each attached to both the ends in the length direction of the Obi board body and engageable to mutual ends, and are wound around on a kimono together with the Obi body, and length adjustable connecting bands which are attached toward the upper side from the upper rim of the Obi board body and set with clamping metal fittings for clamping part of an Obi or a kimono on the ends.
