PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a main rope deterioration diagnostic system of an elevator capable of accurately and easily determining a maximally deteriorated part. SOLUTION: This main rope deterioration diagnostic system has a main rope bending part arithmetic operation means 13 for arithmetically operating a part of a main rope of bending by passing through a sheave with every part of the main rope from a travel position signal outputting a travel position of a car or a counterweight, a main rope tension arithmetic operation means 14 for arithmetically operating main rope tension in the bending occurrence together with a load detecting result in the car in accordance with an acceleration-deceleration travel state and a steady travel state, a main rope stress arithmetic operation means 15 for arithmetically operating bending stress generated in the main rope in the steady travel state and stress of adding impact stress to the bending stress in the acceleration-deceleration travel state, and a main rope stress integral value storage means 16 for integrating and storing the stress of respective main rope parts from an arithmetic operation result of these main rope stress arithmetic operation means 15 and main rope bending part arithmetic operation means 13.
