PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a derailing prevention method preventing a vehicle from being laterally displaced and derailed even if one side wheel of a bogy truck is floated up from an upper surface of a rail, and preventing float-up of a fixed amount or more of the wheel to prevent derailing and rollover. SOLUTION: Even when one side wheel 3 of the bogy truck is floated up from the upper surface of the rail 1 during traveling of the vehicle, a separation prevention wheel 5 of a slider body 10 capable of being vertically moved in a sliding guide groove 8 of the bogy truck frame 4 is always pressed to the upper surface of the rail 1 by a spring 13 or the dead weight and is rotated, and the flange 6 is engaged with an inner side surface of the rail 1. Thereby, lateral skid of the wheel 3 on the rail 1 is prevented. By utilizing relative movement between the bogy truck frame 4 and the slider body 10 accompanying with float-up of the wheel 3, a rail gripping hook 17 mounted to the slider body 10 is downwardly moved and is bitten to eaves below a head part of the rail to suppress further float-up of the bogy truck frame.
