PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply and satisfactorily cleaning a matter attached with a slurry thickened by using a slurry rheology modifying agent combined with specified compounds, especially even in a case wherein a hydraulic composition is attached. SOLUTION: The method for cleaning a matter attached with a hydraulic composition comprises a step of contacting a clay with a combination of a compound selected from cationic surfactants and a compound selected from anionic aromatic surfactants, water and a hydraulic powder which is attached to the matter to be cleaned.
