摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjustment method of a piezoelectric inkjet head 1 which uniformly maintains the discharge condition of ink droplets from nozzles 3 by simply adjusting variations in the discharge condition of ink droplets from the nozzles 3 of the piezoelectric inkjet head 1, and an inkjet printer capable of always printing good quality images by adjusting by the adjustment method. SOLUTION: The inkjet printer forms dots 25 on the surface of a paper 24 which is transferred at a constant speed by continuously discharging ink droplets from the nozzles 3 by applying driving voltage pulses to the piezoelectric deformation area 8 of the piezoelectric inkjet head 1 while continuously varying a pulse width T<SB>2</SB>, obtains an optimal value T<SB>2-1</SB>of the pulse width T<SB>2</SB>of the driving voltage pulse at which an ink droplets discharge speed V<SB>1</SB>becomes fastest, from the result of measurement of the formation position, and separately adjusts the pulse width T<SB>2</SB>of the driving voltage pulse to be applied to the corresponding piezoelectric deformation area 8 to the optimal value T<SB>2-1</SB>.
