PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the sense of shame of a wearer wearing a pants type absorptive article. SOLUTION: This absorptive article 1 is a pants type disposable diaper and is provided with a first mark 51 and a second mark provided in a front part 201 and a back part of a body part 2 visibly from the outside. The first mark 51 and the second mark include information to be used for identifying the front/back of the body part, and the whole bodies of the first mark 51 and the second mark 52 are positioned in one side of a body-part center line 20 along the vertical direction of the body part 2 and in an area where an absorbing core 22 is positioned. This constitution can suppress prominence of the first mark 51 and the second mark in the front part 201 and the back part so as to reduce the sense of shame of the wearer of the absorptive article 1.
